The College's Professional Committee has the purpose of contributing to national consultations and strategy groups by representing the professional views of our members. Without a campus, The College’s accreditation services and the robustness of the contribution it makes to national events and consultations are the yardsticks by which it is seen and judged. Feedback from responses given by the CEO to consultations has proved positive enough to believe that The College’s voice could carry significant weight if given in a high profile way.

The general purpose of the Committee is to advise the Council on its position on all educational matters and to ensure that the views of the members of The College are represented on current matters that have an impact on the role of teachers and others involved in education.
