The Associateship of The College of Teachers (ACOT) in TESOL
The Associateship of The College of Teachers (ACOT) in TESOL is an internationally accredited course which aims to give candidates the theory to function effectively as a teacher of TESOL at a number of levels and in a variety of teaching situations. The requirements of this qualification were developed to be flexible and to provide TESOL candidates with a thorough preparation into TESOL and the classroom. Observed teaching practice lessons are not part of this qualification.

An Individual with an initial TESOL qualification hoping to gain a better understandng of theories of TESOL.
