The Fellowship of The College of Teachers (FCOT), which is examined at a masters level, is offered in three modes.

The submission by the dissertation mode is a research-based submission which is assembled as a master quantitative or qualitative research-based dissertation. - By professional papers
The published work must represent either a substantial innovative contribution to education or substantial evidence of educational research of a nature which would have been eligible for the qualification of the FCOT. - By professional record
