How do I apply for accreditation?
Eight steps to College of Teachers accreditation
 | Telephone or email the Awards Officer at The College of Teacher to express your interest in accreditation. awards@cot.ac.uk or +44(0)20 7911 5536. |
 | Apply for Institutional Membership of The College of Teachers. |
 | Apply for Individual Membership for key tutors and examiners who will be assessing students on your accredited course. |
 | Look at The College's framework of qualifications and assess the level of your course; the minimum requirements should meet or exceed The College's requirements for that particular level. |
 | Complete The College of Teachers' accreditation application form and pay the submission fee which is 50% of the accreditation fee. |
 | Submit the course accreditation application form with all supporting documents to The College of Teachers. |
 | Sign the Memorandum of Agreement and pay the remaining accreditation fee. |
 | An on-site inspection visit will take place by a College of Teachers' representative once every three years. |
