Dr Yvonne Burne, OBE

Dr Yvonne Burne has been a member of the Board of Governors at Brighton University since August 2007 as well as a member of its Student Affairs and Student Appeals committees. Previously she was Headmistress of the City of London School for Girls and St. Helen’s Northwood.

Yvonne Burne was until 2007 a trustee of the Mitchell City of London Charity and Educational Foundation and is a member of the Court of City University. She is a Governor of a number of schools and a Trustee of Tomorrow’s Achievers. She was awarded the OBE in 2008 for services to education in London.
