FAQ Awards Ceremony

Can I take photographs?

Planning is currently underway for this event. The College hopes to have the event professionally photographed and, should you wish to purchase photographs, they will be available to buy online. Unfortunately, photography by individual guests will not be possible for this awards ceremony due to security restrictions in place to protect VIP guests.

It is hoped that the event will be filmed in addition to being photographed. This is still in the planning stages but we hope to provide more information about this soon on our website. Please continue to check this website regularly for updates.

The deadline of 14 April 2010 has passed for booking my attendance; is it too late?

If you have missed the deadline for booking your place to attend the ceremony, it may not be possible to allocate seats for you and your guests. Please contact us and select 'Awards Ceremony' from the drop-down menu to establish whether there is space left for late bookings.

How do I contact The College of Teachers about the awards ceremony?

Please contact us and select 'Awards Ceremony' from the drop-down menu if you cannot find an answer to your query in this section.

Where can I find information about transport in London?

Please go to wwwl.tfl.gov.uk for information on London transport.

Guests

You are welcome to invite four friends or family as your guests free of charge. If you would like more than four people to attend the ceremony with you there may be a small charge to cover our costs.

Gowns

The College of Teachers has a small stock of gowns which are available for appropriately qualified Members and Fellows to wear.

Please note: The gowns will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We may not have enough gowns in stock to meet demand. If this situation arises we will provide details on how to hire your own gown from another supplier.
