Professor Javier Tourón

Javier%20Tour%C3%B3n.jpgProfessor Javier Tourón holds a PhD in Science from the School of Science (Division of Biology) and a PhD in Education. School of Humanities and Social Sciences (Division of Education), both from the University of Navarra.

He is Professor of Educational Research Methods at the Department of Education, University of Navarra and Consultant Editor of national and international journals, including: Revista española de Pedagogía, Bordón, Relieve, Educación XXI, Estudios sobre Educación; High Ability Studies, Education Today, Gifted and Talented Education, Talent Development and Excellence, Sobredotaçao.

He is a Past President of the European Council for High Ability, a member of the National Advisory Board of the Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is the founder of CTY (Center for Talented Youth) Spain.

His area of study and research is on measurement and evaluation, quantitative research methods in education and, for the last 15 years, gifted and talented education.
