The CPD Leadership Programme is a new and flexible framework that schools and colleges can use to have their own professional development programmes accredited. This rewards your entire workforce for their CPD with recognised qualifications from The College of Teachers.

CPD Partners and Leaders

There are two ways of participating in the programme, as a CPD Partner or as a CPD Leader.

CPD Partner
Training by CPD Partners is recognised with professional qualifications that reward your staff for the impact they make to the learning process and can be followed through to higher level qualifications.

CPD Leader
By becoming a CPD Leader, schools and colleges can share their expertise by offering their training to other organisations. CPD Leader Schools and Colleges may work collaboratively by offering their courses to other schools and colleges, improving performance between them, and generating income through the sale of their courses.

CPD Leader Schools and Colleges can demonstrate that they meet the eligibility criteria for Teaching Schools through sustained participation in the programme over a period of three years.

Whole workforce

The programme is for the entire workforce in schools and colleges. All staff can pursue courses of study to achieve qualifications from The College of Teachers.
