National Year of Communication 2011

2011 is the National Year of Communication to help put the importance of speech, language and communication firmly on the public radar.

The National Year is supported by The Department for Education, BT, 39 members and the Communication Champion Jean Gross.

helloThe Communication Trust, a coalition of over 35 voluntary and non-profit organisations, will manage and deliver the national year, now known as the Hello campaign. The national year seeks to reach a broad range of audiences - parents, children and young people, the children’s workforce and commissioners and providers of services. The Communication Trust's November Pack is now available on their website.   

The College of Teachers will be supporting the aims of the National Year of Communication in a number of ways, including:
