Membership
Membership of The College of Teachers is open to everyone who is involved with education, whether as an Individual Member or an Institutional Member. Becoming a Member of The College will:
- enhance your professional standing;
- celebrate (and recognise) your professional qualifications and career achievements; provide you with a range of paper-based and online resources;
- give you access to a range of qualifications to support your learning and continuing professional development.
Membership of The College provides a range of benefits including:

- discounts on events run either by The College or by Partners of The College
- quarterly copies of 'Education Today' The College's Journal
- quarterly copies of The Newsletter, The College's magazine

The qualification a candidate receives is for life, but candidates may only use the post-nominals as long as they:
• remain a Member or Associate Member of The College in good standing
• have paid their Membership fees
• subscribe to the Code of Professional Practice and Continuing Professional Development.
