Individual Associate Membership is a Membership option open to all those involved in education who are not qualified teachers. This Membership option offers formal recognition of the invaluable contribution and expertise made by those working in education-related roles but without formal teaching qualifications.

Associate Membership entitles the Member to:

• Use of the post-nominal AMCollT;
• Enhanced professional standing;
• A quarterly Newsletter;
• A copy of the quarterly journal Education Today;
• Discounts on certain items such as healthcare insurance premiums and products from educational book shops.

Examples of those who are eligible for this grade of Membership can include:

• Teaching assistants;
• Governors;
• School business managers;
• Bursars;
• Trainers without formal teaching qualifications;
• Other support and administrative staff.
