Individual Associate Membership is open to all those involved in education who are not qualified teachers. Examples of those who are eligible for this grade of membership include teaching assistants, governors, bursars, trainers without formal teaching qualifications and other support staff.

Associate Membership entitles the member to:

• Use of the post-nominal AMCollT;
• Enhanced professional standing;
• A quarterly Newsletter;
• A copy of the quarterly journal Education Today;
• Discounts on certain items such as healthcare insurance premiums and products from educational book shops.

Individual Associate Membership is a Membership option open to the dedicated support staff in the UK and overseas who work in education but who are not qualified teachers.  This Membership option offers formal recognition of the invaluable contribution and expertise non-teaching staff working in education-related roles make to their organisation, association or agency.

Examples of those who are eligible for this grade of Membership can include:

• Teaching assistants;
• Governors;
• Bursars;
• Trainers without formal teaching qualifications;
• Other support and administrative staff.
