Council

The College of Teachers' Council is a unique partnership of professionals working within the education sector and others with an interest in education.

The College’s charter requires that there are at least eight Council meetings per year. Council members play a crucial role in developing and supporting effective relationships within the education community and beyond. There are 48 seats on the Committee of which there must always be a quorum of seven members in order for meetings to be held.

Committees and other working groups of Members work throughout the year to develop The College’s short and long term plans, as well as giving valued input into changes and recommendations that The College puts forward at Committee meetings.
