PAMELA FRASER-ABDER, PhD

Pam%20Abder.jpgDr. Pamela Fraser-Abder is a nationally and internationally recognised expert on the impact of gender and cultural issues on science teaching and learning. She is currently the Director of Science Education at New York University, and holds office and maintains membership in many national and international organisations that reflect her devotion to empowering teachers to achieve the goal of universal scientific literacy. She also directs several programmes that support females and minorities as they complete master’s degrees and certification requirements at New York University; these programmes have received over eight million dollars in funding since their creation.
